I have had the belief that a good horse should have a foundation in elementary dressage, with this you can do just about anything. Dressage teaches the horse basics, as well as discipline which is need in any horse. I do like your web site, I have one of the only grandson to Tammen in Crystal Springs, MS. As you may know Tammen was owned by the late Patrick Swayze. His name is Ser Tu-Tammen Playboy. Hope we can become good horse friends with this.

I have had 5 lessons with Joe and am further than I thought I would be. I am getting a little older and have been away from riding and he has increased my confidence again from the 1st lesson. I wantched him work a colt and he is cool and calm with them too, If you are getting bak into and need confidence, need refinement or starting new in the horse world give Joe a try I think you will like him.

I can't thank you enough, Joe, for all you have done to train our horses and our family. I am amazed in your ability to train on every level of ability and age - from a middle-aged woman (who didn't know how to ride) and her teen-agers, to a nine year old. You have taken our teenagers to new levels in their riding, roping and sorting - exposing them to disciplines I would never have imagined them doing. And you did all this in less than a year. They not only gained new horsemanship skills but they also gained a great deal of confidence - on and off the horse. You always went above and beyond what was expected and always spent the extra moment to make a point or took the extra time to make sure things were right before quitting for the day. Our family learned more than just riding skills. You also taught us a great deal about equine care, nutrition, and fitness. Most of all, you value family and friendship. We will miss you and your family. God Bless and keep in touch. Warmest Aloha, Jean and the gang.

Thanks for working with our 3 daughters with their riding skills. Your access to cows has brought our older 2 girls to a new level in their skills. Working with the cows and private lessons have made a noticeable difference in their confidence, ability and most of all enjoyment for them riding and us watching. Thanks for all the effort you put into the sorting/roping clinics and the competitions you put on also. I am glad my girls didn't miss the opportunities you provided to the horse community in Hawaii.

Thank you Joe. You did such a great job with Lenas Mirage and now I feel confident to ride her with no problems. You are always available to talk to, ask questions about my horses' progress, helpful hints about my riding and have been there to advise me on where to go next. I have also watched you with the other riders always being patient, polite and helpful. You have given me confidence to ride again, which I really missed. I just wish I lived closer to beautiful Gunstock and could ride there everyday. PS say HI to Angela for us, we thank her for sharing your time with us. Suzanne, Daniel and Sami

Joe, There is nothing I can say that is short of amazing! You have made believers out of everyone at BPRC, including myself and Marcel. Not only do we have a well rounded horse, but a QUIET dependable one. The extra hours and attention that you put into Dynamite were unbelievable and much appreciated! I have never met a trainer that goes the extra mile so both horse and rider get the desired result, regardless of time or money spent. I cant stress enough how happy we both are....(though at times it seems Dyno loves you more then me now!!) HA HA. But seriously, thanks for all that you do! Oahu is lucky to FINALLY have such a great trainer her! My mustang and I both thank you. Who said wild horses just stay wild??!?

Joe, thank you so much for all the hard work you put into both my horse and me. You restored my trust and confidence in a once problematic horse. I know that neither Zoe nor I were the easiest to work with at times! However, your training style really fit with us. I appreciate your determination, patience, and most of all, your effectiveness. You are a very pleasant and knowledgeable teacher! Thanks!
